Bateman Metal Works is a family owned company in the high plains of Laramie, Wyoming. It started out as a hobby in a small one car garage. Now it operates out of what was once a horse barn. I've always loved tinkering with metal and exploring all the possibilities with modern metal working machinery and technology. When I get an idea I like to go a little crazy and really run with it. It always makes me think of what my high school metal shop teacher would say after I would over-replicate an item in class, "Everyone should have one!"
I custom design and manufacture all of my products right here in the windy Gem City of the high plains (AKA "Laradise"). I am passionate about producing art that embraces what I stand for and believe in. To live in Wyoming and do what I love, does it get any better?

I pay attention to detail and quality with the customers best interest in mind. Also, how many of your friends can say that they actually own something made by someone who lives in the most wild, rugged and least populated state in the lower 48 on purpose? Sure, you could buy some what-not on your trip through Yellowstone that was made in China. But when you click "add to cart" on this Etsy page you can be sure you're getting something authentic.
